This year we recognize Children’s Mental Health Week during the week of May 2nd-8th, 2022. The focus is on empathy building. Learning opportunities will be provided for classroom learning which aligns with the themes of Catholic Education Week.

On Monday March 21st, our students are invited to participate in ‘Rock Your Socks’ Day. Students can show off their patterned or mismatched socks in support of World Down Syndrome Day. Students will reflect on what inclusion means, and will be encouraged to participate in inclusive activities as part of their daily lives.

Our Kindergarten to Grade 3 students will be participating in Bully Brave workshops. This will be via a webinar hosted by Brave Education. With Brave’s children’s book, students practise their body language and tone of voice through role playing our Walk Away, Talk Away, and Block Away communication steps. As the weather appears to be getting warmer, we are providing a gentle reminder to our school community. We continue to implement our dress code at St. Brendan CS. Students are expected to wear:
- navy bottoms;
- white/navy/light blue tops;
